Phosphor copper mesh is made from copper mixed with tin and phosphorus. This makes it stronger, springier, and more resistant to wear. It is usually available in mesh sizes from 60 to 150, with wire thickness from 0.1 mm to 0.4 mm. This mesh is good for very precise filtering and blocking sound. It resists rust well and doesn’t create sparks, making it good for boats, planes, and places where explosions could happen. Compared to brass or copper mesh, phosphor copper is much stronger against bending back and forth and is preferred for long-lasting use in machines or filtering.
